Deaconess Midtown Hospital is the anchor and largest hospital in the Deaconess Health System. The acute care hospital is a 350-bed tertiary care center and a Level II Trauma Center. The campus has transformed over time but remains in the same location as the original Protestant Deaconess Hospital built in 1899.
