The Deane Center is located in the former Davis Furniture store located on Main Street in downtown Wellsboro.  Its mission is to increase access to the arts for Tioga County. It does that by scheduling a full slate of concerts as well as making the facilities available to artists and educators. 

Its Black Box Theatre provides a flexible venue and hosts performances regularly, as well as dances, receptions, conventions, and proms. A large number of meeting rooms are available and used regularly for choir, yoga classes, and ballroom dancing.
