About Us
Desert Springs Worship Center was formed in 1952. Originally, the church (then known as Miracle Tabernacle) met in a tent under the pastoral ministry of brother Claude Jones. Construction of the first building began in the fall of that year.

A year later, in October 1953, the church officially became affiliated with the PCG (Pentecostal Church of God).

Over the years, there have been many changes:

The church officially moved to a new building on May 2, 1971.
Thriteen men have been named pastor.
The church's name has changed three times (from Miracle Tabernacle to Community Tabernacle to its current name of Desert Springs Worship Center)
And this is just the "tip of the iceberg." Through it all, some things have not changed: Jesus Christ is still Lord at our church and the Bible is still accurately taught.

When you walk through the doors at Desert Springs, it will become very apparent that you are in an enviroment of Christian love and fellowship. As our pastor Patrick Malone always says, "When you visit our church, you'll find a welcome mat on the outside and a warm and friendly atmosphere on the inside." That's the truth.
