Focusing primarily on landscapes, Diane works in both Pastel and Oil. Using Sketches or preliminary drawings/paintings done Plein air along with photographs for reference, the paintings are then finished in her studio."I love being outside and painting gives me the opportunity to really see what nature has to offer us."

Although she enjoys painting landscapes, Diane does not limit herself to that alone, she also paints still life and pet portraits.

"When I paint, I not only try to capture the essence of what it is that I am painting, whether it be a landscape, still life or pet portrait, but I paint the feeling of it as well."
