The Mission of Mars United Methodist Church is to provide opportunity to experience the fulfillment of Jesus Christ so that we become followers of the Ways of God.

Vision Statement :

At Mars United Methodist Church we will:
provide opportunities to support and nurture the family unit; for both traditional and non-traditional families.
provide a friendly, caring atmosphere where all people feel welcomed into our church family.
provide learning opportunities for people of all ages for growth and enrichment.
provide opportunities for people to grow in faith through Biblical teaching, in Sunday School classes and other small groups.
provide opportunities for people to share their talents.
provide opportunities for formal and informal worship and fellowship.
support local and global missions, giving people opportunities to serve.

Belief Statement :

We, the members of Mars United Methodist Church, believe that the church is a family of people who believe in Jesus Christ. We, the family of the church, believe that there is an essence of peace within each person and within the church which can be found by serving the Lord, helping others, and enjoying quiet times alone or with friends and family in God’s creation. We, the family of the church, believe that the growth of each person and of the church is an ever-changing process, whereby each person has an opportunity to be an individual, to share their talents with others and to spread the good news that God sent Jesus Christ to forgive us our sins. We, the family of the church, believe that each person and the church can change, when we remain open-minded and practice kindness and forgiveness.
