We are excited about the opportunities we have to serve the Lord at Eagle Drive Baptist Church in Decatur, Texas. In the last year we have completed a new building which gives us more space to grow and meet the needs of our church and community. Plans are already in place for ministries we hope will enable us to reach more and more people, of all ages, with the story of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

As our name says, we are a Baptist church. We are independent Baptists and we fellowship with other independent Baptists of like faith and practice. One of our burdens is to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, we support several missionaries who serve in many different countries around the world. Each year we have a Missions Conference to present the need and challenge our members to do more for the cause of World-Wide Missions.

Another burden we have is to reach young people. Statistics tell us most Christians get saved before they are 21 years of age. With that in mind, we are praying the Lord will help us reach more and more young people.
