Earthly Delights Farm

Our 18-week season takes our eaters through the first greens and sugar snap peas of spring to the last tomatoes and winter squashes of autumn. A share contains an average of 10 items a week, including seasonal vegetables, herbs, and fruits, and is available for pick up at the farm or delivery by bicycle. CSA members receive our popular weekly newsletter, full of cooking tips, recipes, socio-politial rants, botanical trivia, farm happenings, and more.

Earthly Delights Farm is a small-scale, urban farm on multiple small plots in northwest Boise. We run the farm primarily on human power, using hand tools almost exclusively in the garden and transporting ourselves, our farm equipment, and our produce primarily by bicycle. We produce over 100 varieties of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers, on just over 1 acre of land, and sell our produce primarily through a 25-member CSA, with additional sales to local restaurants. We have a rad flock of laying hens and a couple beehives as well. We choose not to certify organic for political and financial reasons, but we farm using, in Joel Salatin's words, Beyond Organic methods.

You can visit our website for more information about our farm, our CSA model and costs, on farm events and activities, and our internship program, which is an 8 hour per week commitment through the duration of the growing season.
