As you surf through our offerings, you will see that the East Haven Public School System has committed itself to providing the best in educational services for the school-aged children of our town. Although most of our facilities are older, we take great pride in the comfortable and safe conditions of our buildings which we believe are a welcoming atmosphere for our students to develop and grow.

Our educational initiatives are aligned with State of Connecticut standards, and in many cases, exceed those standards. Our professional staff is trained throughout the year through professional development activities to keep informed about current and effective teaching and learning practices, and there is constant dialogue with colleagues and organizations throughout the state and nation to develop the most effective programs and resources available in modern educational practices.

I encourage parents to communicate with the teachers and administrators regarding their children. It is my experience that the most successful students come from parents and guardians who are interested enough in their children’s education to become part of it by communicating with teachers and being involved.
