Western Massachusetts has produced many well-known jazz musicians, supported by our local schools and colleges as well as by the community at large. For five years, the Northampton Jazz Festival hosted a free event that featured international and local musicians. We hope to continue the jazz festival legacy in Western Mass. with a dynamic live event featuring local student groups, up-and-coming professional groups, and internationally known performers.
