Our Mission:
To ensure that our students have access to quality educational opportunities and that our graduates become responsible, educated, productive citizens, the Echols County Board of Education will provide positive leadership and direction to the Echols County School System.

We will further provide the financial and human resources to ensure our schools have an effective, positive, safe, clean, and attractive learning environment.

The board will strive to recruit, employ and nurture dedicated, well-qualified, highly professional employees who share the vision of addressing the special needs of every child in our school system.

We will also diligently monitor the effectiveness of our educational programs consistent with state statutes, state board policies and local board policies.
