About Us
The Encore Concert Band is a community-based performance ensemble, comprised of over 60 musicians from the south and west suburbs.

Founded in 1999 by Music Director Bill Schuetter, the band performs concerts throughout the year in many towns in the Chicagoland area. The ECB performs a wide variety of music, from the classics to Broadway hits, ensuring that there is always something for any music lover to enjoy at their concerts.

The Encore Concert Band is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. Its goals are to offer local adult musicians the opportunity to play quality band music together, to foster a greater appreciation for music among members of the community, and to provide musical entertainment of the highest level for their audience.
