ETHPS's most significant task is the preservation of documents and artifacts that reflect the history of Ewing Township.
We strive to maintain and restore the Benjamin Temple House as a representative example of Ewing Township's early colonial history.
We investigate the historical significance and relationship of the various donations we receive from Ewing citizens to find the best placement.
We have gathered together through the years an extensive collection of historical documents, genealogical references, local history books, and many household articles to reflect different time periods.
The Ewing Township Historic Preservation Society. Registered with the State of N.J. on July 20, 1972, the mission of ETHPS is to preserve and protect Ewing Township's historic houses, buildings and sites and to collect artifacts, books, photographs, manuscripts and related genealogy materials pertaining to the history of Ewing Township and the surrounding region.
