The mission of First Baptist Church of Kent Island is to be a ministering body of Christ who, under the quidance of the Holy Spirit,

proclaims the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ

teaches the essentials of the Christian life as revealed in God's Holy Word,

nurtures Christian growth and service through worship, teaching, training and fellowship and

ministers to the needs of the community in cooperation with other Christians in reaching out to the whole world."
