Our Purpose:

First Baptist Church of Sanlando Springs exists to glorify God by reaching and developing followers of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Our Values:

Presence:
We value the Presence of God in our daily lives and view worship as something we offer to God collectively as a body of believers gathered in celebration and as individuals giving our lives in service "as unto the Lord."

Proclamation:
We value the conviction that salvation is available through Jesus Christ alone, and that it is the responsibility of every believer to help insure that everyone has an opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel.

Priesthood:
We value the priesthood of all believers wherein each person is given access to Truth through the revelation of God's Word and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, and where every believer is seen as being called, gifted, and sent by the Spirit into service.

Partnership:
We value the biblical picture of the church as the Body of Christ living in koinonia while seeking together the transformation of individuals and communities through the love of Jesus Christ.

Prayer:
We value prayer as a foundational principle for our thoughts and actions.

Provision:
We value the faithfulness of believers in supporting the work of ministry through one's stewardship of their resources.
