Mission Statement:
Our current mission for the   Kingdom of God is to:
- Worship God, the Father, + Son, and Holy Spirit, by gathering regularly around Word and Sacrament.
- Extend the ministry of Jesus Christ by:
    -Teaching and making disciples.
    -Advocating for stronger relationships among Wheeling Lutheran congregations, as well as other Christian communities.
    -Being faithful and generous stewards of our resources in:
    -Assisting the membership of First English to faithfully exercise its discipleship in the world.
    -Leading and supporting efforts to build hope in our community.

Our ministry, being the Church in the heart of the city, provides opportunities for Wheeling's population to receive the nourishing Word of God and the Sacraments, while serving as home to our members. Our ministry, and our invitation to you to join our discipleship, is squarely rooted in our beliefs.
