Flint River Valley Steelheaders

About:

Welcome to the Flint River Valley Chapter of Michigan Steelheaders Web Page.  Located in Flint Michigan, the Flint Steelheaders was formed in 1976 and since then has helped by playing a key role in the development and conservation of Great Lakes sport fishing.

Flint's 375 members have a wide interest range.  From our fishing tournaments and outings, monthly membership meetings, the Spring Boat & Fishing Show at the Birch Run Expo Center, fund raisers, & annual awards meeting plus, there are many other activities that the whole family would enjoy.

Our Chapter is part of the Michigan Salmon and Steelhead Fishermen's Association (MSSFA) but our main focus is centered on Lake Huron and Saginaw Bay and the diverse fishery in both of those bodies of water.

Be our guest and cruise through our web site to learn more about our chapter and how to join.  Whether you're a weekend angler, Charter Captain, or just someone interested in Michigan's Great Lakes and it's fishery,  you'll find it here.
