Florida Atlantic University - Fort Lauderdale Campus

111 East Las Olas Boulevard
954-236-1000

About Us:

The Fort Lauderdale campus in downtown Fort Lauderdale (comprised of the Reubin O'D Askew Tower and the FAU/Broward College Higher Education Complex) takes advantage of its unique urban setting to serve as a center for FAU programs in creative industries and urban affairs.

The campus is part of Fort Lauderdale's evolving, dynamic urban community and provides a laboratory for students in business, computer arts, graphic arts, multimedia communication, architecture, urban and regional planning and public administration.

Several research centers are also located in the nine-story Askew Tower, as well as the Graduate School of Business, the MFA program in computer arts, computer labs, classrooms and conference space. The tower is also the site of the Second Avenue Studio, an exhibition space for FAU and the Broward community. It features the work of students, faculty and selected guest artists.

The Higher Education Complex is the headquarters of the College of Architecture, Urban and Public Affairs, the Broward campuses administrative office and the South Florida Executive Office of Governor Charlie Crist.

The building also houses a student activities center, architecture studios and MBA classrooms. It also features solar panels on the roof, which reduce the building's energy costs.
