Fort Bend County Bar Association
The Fort Bend County Bar Association was organized to promote the following:
-Fostering high ethical and professional standards among lawyers.
-Devotion to the improvement of the legal profession and the legal community as a whole.
-The facilitation of the administration of justice.
-The preservation of high standards of integrity, honor and courtesy in the legal profession.
-The cultivation of a spirit of brotherhood and good fellowship among the members.
The organization was incorporated in October, 1981, and the initial board of directors included Jerry W. Bussell, Stephen R. Butler, Steven J. Gilbert, Ken Hartfiel, J. Michael Lytle, and Bradford Norris.
