Frankfort Main Street, Inc. was founded in 1985 and has been a Nationally Accredited Main Street Program through the National Main Street Trust since 2002. This program is modeled after the National Main Street Program which asserts that there are four areas demanding equal attention in order to fully revitalize a Central Business District.  The four areas of the Main Street Four Point Approach work together to build a sustainable and complete revitalization effort.
