Franklin Academy provides an excellent model of instruction applying strategies for teaching the "whole" child. One of our unique practices is single-gender instruction in core courses and co-educational instruction in specials. Additionally, chess is an integral part of our program and every student in K-5 takes chess. Chess is also an elective available to all of our 6-8 students.
