We are a group of volunteer workers trying to save the Historic Sheman Tavern on U.S. 25 in Sherman.  The house sits in front of the new Sherman Elementary School.  The house is nearly 200 years old and structurally sound. We work at the site nearly every week and have made great progress.  Financed solely by private donations. This picfture is how it looked when we started .
