Jacy and Matt started their small farm on 1 rented acre in the spring of 2003 in Manhattan, and in 2008, we were fortunate enough to start working our own ground. We initially specialized in restaurant sales, and in 2005 added a CSA to our marketing. Today, we sell to a 120 member CSA, 15 restaurants, the Community Food Coop, and three farmers markets in Bozeman. We have relied on crop rotation, cover crops, underseeding, beneficial insect attracting plants, and composted manure to maintain and improve soil fertility and tilth and manage plant pests and disease. We have 6 acres in production, including 3 greenhouses to help with cold weather season extension and warm weather crop production in our cold microclimate on the rich bottomlands of Rocky Creek.

18 week summer season. Vegetables, salad greens, and herbs usually feeds a family of 4 or 2 vegans. 10 week winter season. Similar in size to the summer boxes, with root crops from storage, braising greens, and salad greens from the greenhouse!
