The mission of this 100% volunteer department is to threefold:

1. To serve as the agency of choice for fire and other emergency prevention, education, and inspection, in Gallowaay Township.
2. To, as safely as possible, provide the best possible professional fire suppression, technical rescue, other related emergency services, and Incident Command to those who reside, work, visit, and attend school in Galloway Township and to provide those services in a cost effective manner 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
3. To provide mutual aid assistance to neighboring communities when requested.
