Garden Club of Greater Lansing

1900 Boston Blvd.
517-333-3313

Want to learn more about gardening, and give something back to the community at the same time?  Here's a great opportunity!

The Garden Club of Greater Lansing (GCGL) works to provide horticultural, educational and networking opportunities for its membership; to promote the love of gardening, floral and landscape design, and civic and environmental responsibility. GCGL's nationally accredited members have served widely as flower show judges, landscape design consultants, environmental consultants, and master gardeners.  Founded in 1931, GCGL is a long-standing award-winning member of Michigan Garden Clubs, Inc., and National Garden Clubs, Inc.

Organizations served by GCGL members include the Greater Lansing Housing Coalition, Lansing Elementary Schools, the Inter-City Council of Garden Clubs, Lansing's Parks and Recreations Dept., Scenic Michigan Board, the National Wildlife Federation, and more.  The club's contributions to these organizations provide landscaping materials for low-income housing, beautification projects throughout Lansing and Michigan, and many educational gardening projects in our city's elementary schools.  For a quick view of just a few of these efforts as publicized in the last year, please click on the "Articles" tab at the top of this page.

The club meets on the second Monday of each month at Plymouth Congregational Church, 2001 E. Grand River Ave, Lansing, MI 48912. Please consult the "Calendar" tab at the top of this page, for attendance opportunities as a special guest or potential member, or call President, Nancy McGilliard 517-333-3313.
