GHS is a comprehensive public school housing grades 9-12, built in 1974.

Our mission is to provide a safe, compassionate teaching and learning environment that instills a lifelong respect for and a commitment to learning.We believe that our students will best be served by an on-going assessment of the academic, social, and civic skills required to succeed in a changing world and by providing opportunities to acquire these skills through a variety of instructional approaches.We further believe that it is important to help students reach their full potential by teaching responsibility and accountability for one's own actions.

We believe learning is best accomplished when a student is prepared, punctual, and attends school daily. Family and community support for both the student and school is an essential component of the educational experience. A spirit of cooperation that encourages team building and collaboration is likewise a valued component of this process. Respect for each individual regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnic background, religion, or abilities will be taught and practiced.
