History:

The Grace Independent Baptist Church is located on Highway 90 just east of Ocean Springs Hospital. This wonderful church family has been proclaiming the truth of God’s Word for many years. Started in downtown Ocean Springs as the Ocean Springs Baptist Church. The church moved out to Highway 90 in the late 60’s and over time became the Grace Independent Baptist Church as it is known today. Through the years, GIBC has been blessed by different men who served as Pastor of this church family. In August of 2007, GIBC called Paul Perkins as their pastor. Since Pastor Perkins’ arrival, the Lord has blessed in many ways. The church has growth and excitement in the different ministries of the church. The auditorium has been completely re-done inside and due to space needs, the buildings are currently being remodeled.

Today, GIBC continues to be greatly used of God. Through the life changing teaching and preaching of God’s Word and the opportunities to serve the Lord, members are enjoying the blessings of God. Visiting GIBC is a wonderful experience that you will enjoy and benefit from.
