Mission:

For God’s glory, Grace Presbyterian Church exists to worship God, to share Christ’s grace and power with the Chelsea community and beyond, and to disciple individuals, families, and this church toward the completion of His Kingdom.

Vision:

The Vision of Grace Presbyterian Church Chelsea is to be characterized by excellence in the following areas:

WORSHIP

By the grace of God and for His glory through Christ our Savior and in the power of the Holy Spirit, we intend to be characterized by a mindset and practice of worshipful intimacy with God as individual members, as families, and as a corporate church body. We will be faithful users of the ordinary means of grace as we live in the fellowship of the commonality of our relationship with Christ. In the function of this worshipful life, we intend to be guided by the sufficiency of the Bible alone.

PRAYER

By the grace of God and for His glory through Christ our Savior and in the power of the Holy Spirit, we intend that our worshipful intimacy with Him be strengthened and deepened through the practice of communing prayer, kingdom focused prayer, and prayer for the supply of daily needs (in that order of importance) as individuals, as families, and as a church.

DISCIPLESHIP

By the grace of God and for His glory through Christ our Savior and in the power of the Holy Spirit, we intend to be such maturing disciples of Christ that the fruit of the Spirit will be the noticeable and descriptive factors of our character as individuals, as families, and as a church. This progress in discipleship will be the result of serious study of the Word of God for knowing Him more deeply and for function in everything by the leading of the Holy Spirit through His Word, the Bible.

LOVING RELATIONSHIPS

By the grace of God and for His glory through Christ our Savior and in the power of the Holy Spirit, we intend to be marked by loving relationships characterized by speaking the truth in love, by pursuing each other’s welfare in the Lord, and by living consistently repentant and forgiving lives in Him according to His Word, the Bible.

OUTREACH

By the grace of God and for His glory through Christ our Savior and in the power of the Holy Spirit, we intend to be characterized as givers of the Gospel to each other and to the lost, functional givers of the fruit of our giftedness as provided to each individual by the Holy Spirit, and givers of money and other material goods, even sacrificially, for each other’s welfare and for the spread of the Gospel to the ends of the earth according to the standard established by Christ in the Bible.

We want to welcome you to our web site. It is our hope that you will get to know a little bit about us as you view our pages. We are a young church that seeks to glorify our Great Savior and Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ. At every point in our church’s life we desire that Christ would be honored and lifted up. It is a place where Christ is King and His Word rules. Our purpose at Grace Church is that every member would be equipped to be a student of God’s Word, a servant of Christ and each other, a sower of the word of truth, and a steward of one’s time, talent, and resources. We are a “mission minded” church. We invite you to come and visit with us on Sunday morning. We have a fellowship time at 10 o’clock and our worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. We meet in the facilities of Dance South on the hill behind McDonalds. Come and worship with us.
