Our Mission

 The Bible states, "God has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live." Ecclesiastes 3:10,11

It is true - God has made everything beautiful, especially here in the foothills of the Sierra. The majestic Ponderosa Pines, reaching their lofty branches toward heaven, direct our minds upward to the Creator God. However, our Mission goes beyond the natural, scenic beauty, to the inner beauty of lives changed by the grace of God so as to reflect the character of their Maker.

It is true - God has set eternity in the hearts of men. Amidst a world of chaos and confusion, frustration and fear, there is a longing in the hearts of people for something better, something more permanent. Our Mission is to share with our Community the good news of a soon-coming Savior and help them come to know Jesus Christ and the plan of salvation as revealed in the pages of His Word, the Bible.

It is true - God wants us to be happy and do good all the days of our life. It is our belief that those who know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Friend will be the happiest people in the whole world. Further, those who know Jesus will devote their lives to helping others, just as Jesus Himself did. Thus our Mission is to introduce each and everyone to Jesus Christ so that they will find a fulfilling, joy-filled life of commitment, fellowship and service.
