WHAT IS THE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE?

The Greater Derry Londonderry Chamber of Commerce (GDLC) is a “not-for-profit” organization made up of voluntary members from the business community. Members invest their time and money to further their collective interests, while advancing their community, region, or state. Through this network, businesses are able to advocate on behalf of the community at large, economic prosperity and business interests.

A Chamber of Commerce helps create job opportunities through stimulation of commercial and industrial growth. It supports the business community by providing: Exposure through advertising, promotion, and visibility; the Impact of a “collective voice” regarding issues that affect your business; Education through professional development and information necessary for success; and Referrals of only member businesses and their products and services through our office and local visitor’s center.
