89 Chester Street
440-354-4404

Mission and Vision

PAHFH works in partnership with God and all people to develop community by creating decent and affordable housing so that everyone can live, grow, and experience that which God intends.

PAHFH currently builds two houses per year, with the goal of six houses per year by 2006

History

The Painesville Area Habitat for Humanity chapter got its start in 1989. Their first major project was the relocation and remodeling of a home in Painesville. Since then, PAHFH has served over 23 families in the Painesville area.

Some of our past work included construction of homes on Elm Street, Argonne Street, Fremont and Lakeview. Students from Lake Erie College and other organizations willingly volunteered time during the construction, and the house on Argonne had corporate sponsorship from Target Stores, Inc.
