MISSION:

The mission of the Hampton Public School District, in partnership with home and community, is to promote academic excellence in a safe, nurturing environment.  This is to ensure all students become lifelong learners and are able to successfully develop critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, positive attitudes, and knowledge necessary to become productive and socially responsible citizens in a technology-based, global society.

BELIEF STATEMENT:

- We believe that given defined expectations, all students can learn, demonstrate the skills, and meet the requirements needed to graduate eighth grade.

-We believe that the school board, staff, students, and community must be committed to promoting a safe school.

-We believe that individual student qualities should be recognized, appreciated, developed, and challenged.

-We believe that technology is an integral part of the education process.

-We believe that mutual respect and responsibility are cornerstones of the educational process.
