Someone is waiting for your help!  Deliver Meals to Harvard Homebound Seniors

The Salvation Army Golden Diners Program needs drivers to deliver meals to Harvard homebound seniors.

Many seniors suffer from poor or malnutrition.  This can result from any of a number of issues such failing health, injury, surgery, becoming the caregiver to a spouse or loved one, and the rising costs of groceries and medications.  You can make a difference by delivering hot nutritious meals to homebound seniors in Harvard. For many seniors your smiling face may be the only one that greets them each day.                                                                                                       

Meals are delivered Monday-Friday. 10am-Noon.  Volunteers typically donate a few hours per day, 1-2 times a month.  A reliable vehicle and the ability to pass a background & motor vehicle license check are required. Days & Hours:  Mondays & Thursdays 10am-Noon Application process is required.  Location:  Harvard Senior Center 6817 Harvard Hills Road Harvard, IL
