Mission:
Heritage Elementary School, in partnership with our families and community, is to prepare each child in a caring and safe environment for productive lifelong learning.

History:
Heritage Elementary School is nestled in the lovely country side of Thompson Station, in the southern part of Williamson County. The school opened its doors on August 16, 1999, with 563 students in grades PreK-5. In  the beginning, there were 28 classroom teachers, nine special area teachers (including speech and gifted), and three resource teachers. By the  fourth year of Heritage Elementary, more than 800 students attended the  school. In the spring of 2003, rezoning occurred and Heritage's population  was reduced when Chapman's Retreat was built. Now, in its seventh year,  the school now serves Pre-K through 5th grade. The school has approximately 910 students, 43 classroom teachers, 6 full time and 4 part  time special area teachers, and 9 student support services teachers. The  staff, faculty, parents, and community of Heritage cooperatively work to fulfill  the mission at Heritage Elementary School.
