Statement of Core Beliefs:

The Bible: We believe the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative, Word of God and The source of truth for Christian beliefs and living.

God: We believe there is one God who is the creator and ruler of the universe and has eternally existed in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, voluntary death on the cross to provide for our salvation, bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven. He is currently in heaven praying for us and will one day return to earth in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God who glorifies Jesus Christ, makes men aware of their need for Jesus Christ, and whose personal presence empowers believers to live godly lives.

Man: We believe man was created in the image of God for a personal relationship with God and is the supreme object of God's creation. Man was created with the freedom to choose his life direction and everyone has chosen disobedience and rejection of God, called sin. As a result of sin, man is separated and alienated from God.

Salvation: We believe salvation is a free gift from God to man. It cannot be earned or deserved by good works. Only by trusting in Christ alone as God's offer of forgiveness can man be saved from the penalty of sin. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into their life by faith.

Eternity: We believe man was created to exist forever; either eternally separated from God by sin (Hell) or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation (Heaven). Heaven and Hell are places of eternal existence.

The Church: We believe the church is a local, autonomous, body of baptized believers who voluntarily commit themselves to faithfully live out the beliefs, practices and mission of extending God's kingdom in the world under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, who is the Head of the church.

Baptism: We believe baptism is the immersion of a believer in water as an act of obedience to the command of Christ. The act of baptism follows a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Baptism symbolizes the death, burial and resurrection of Christ and the believer's new life in Christ.
