Hillsboro Police Department

22 Municipal Drive
603-464-5512

The Hillsboro Police Department will exemplify the effective police department with a dedication to providing ethical, professional and quality service to the public. This agency will accomplish its mission through active partnerships with the community to protect life and property, preserve human rights and promote positive growth.

The police department has 25 employees of which 11 are full-time police officers and 2 are part-time. The department provides 24 hour a day police dispatching for the towns of Antrim, Bennington, Deering, Hancock, Hillsboro and Washington. We handle fire dispatching services for some of the area towns, as well. The police department provides a School Resource Officer to the school district to support the 1,700 students, teachers and support staff. We are very proud our relationship with the school district, which has resulted in us receiving the New Hampshire Partners in Education Gold Circle Partnership Achievement Award.

We strive to exemplify the effective police department through our partnerships with the community and to be guided by the community policing philosophy.
