The Hillsborough County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES ) is composed of FCC licensed Amateur radio operators who have voluntarily registered their capabilities and equipment for public service Communications. We provide support communications for served agencies such as Emergency Management, Police, Fire, Red Cross, Salvation Army, and others as well as for parades, marathons, bike-a-thons etc. We support the Hollis Half Marathon, The Prouty (Norris Cotton Cancer Center), among others. HCARES meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7pm at the Southern NH Medical Center, Board Room 8 Prospect St., Nashua. Meeting venue is subject to change and will be announced on our website and training net at  8PM every Monday evening on 146.730 - pl 88.5
