The Hingham Public Library provides service on equal terms to all individuals in the community. The Library, dedicated to freedom of access to information for all, strives to meet educational, occupational, personal, recreational and cultural needs of its community. In all its operations, the Library works toward the development of the individual as a citizen and the removal of ignorance, intolerance and indifference in the community.

There is a nice play area for the kids...the best children's section I the area! Storytimes almost everyday! The kids can have a snack or lunch! (Bring your own)!

When I first walked in, it was easy to find the book I was searching for because everything was labeled!! They also had good seating and book selections!
