Historic Annapolis

18 Pinkney Street
410-267-8146

Since 1952 Historic Annapolis Foundation has led the way in preserving the city's architectural legacy and unique historic character for future generations—and for residents and visitors today! We have been instrumental in saving nearly 400 historic buildings in Annapolis.

Our sites open to the public are: HistoryQuest at the St. Clair Wright Center, 99 Main Street, Annapolis. See artifacts & exhibits, and learn more about the history of Maryland's capital city. Take tours of the Historic District. Great views of City Dock. Free admission.

At the William Paca House and Garden, 186 Prince George Street, Annapolis, visit the home of one of the Declaration of Independence signers and Governor of Maryland. March 2008 weekend tours available. April-December daily tours available. Admission. Available for private functions.

Shop for unique collectables, nautical home decor, tasty Chesapeake flavors, and historic signature gifts at the Historic Annapolis Foundation Museum Store, 77 Main Street, Annapolis.

The Waterfront Warehouse, 4 Pinkney Street, Annapolis is a rare surviving example of the small warehouses that dotted the Annapolis waterfront in the 18th and early 19th centuries. Be sure to step inside to check out the replica of the waterfront in the late 18th century! Open daily. Free admission.
