Holy Cross follows the way of Jesus Christ through dynamic worship, education, and daily Christian practice.
At Holy Cross we believe we are called to bless and help the community where our congregation is rooted. We participate in a number of efforts to build up the community in our local area and to show compassion around the world. We are a member congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
At Holy Cross we believe that it is through the gift of God’s Grace that we are saved. The people of Holy Cross Lutheran Church trust in the living hope of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We passionately worship God, follow Jesus, and live in the Spirit in a way that brings the Bible to life today while honoring our Lutheran heritage.
At the core of Holy Cross worship is the Gospel. In Ephesians 2, Paul writes that “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”
Holy Cross is a congregation that loves to worship God through music. Our services begin and end with vibrant spirit filled songs led by our Music Minister Jon Torgrimsen. Our Pastor J. David Knecht, shares a Bible based sermon followed by a sharing of prayers, passing of peace and honoring the Lord’s Prayer. Each Sunday, regardless of how you classify yourself or the world classifies you we offer Holy Communion to all those who attend.
