About Us :

Hoonah City Schools is located about 30 miles west of Juneau on Chichigof Island.  This area is known for breaching whales, roaring sea lions, wintering Harlequins, and abundant brown bears in the summer.

The school is home to about 135 students and about a dozen teachers.
