The farm began in the 1880's when Issac W. They increased the farm and began a dairy farm and delivered milk to the logging camps, Lake Cushman Dam construction crews in the 1920's and later door to door in Bremerton. In 1948 Paul's two sons, Bill and Jim started purchasing land suitable for growing Christmas trees. They continued to work on the farm, assuming the operation of the farm in 1962.
