About Us

The Hurley Nursery School was founded in September 1968 as a private, nonprofit, nonsectarian and nondiscriminatory school. It is administered and controlled by a Governing Board comprised of volunteer members: educators, community members, church representatives and the head teacher.

The primary purpose of the Hurley nursery school is two-fold:

-To provide a rich, stimulating environment in which each child may grow and learn at his or her on pace.

-To provide the opportunity for nursery school age children to enjoy being and learning together. 

The teacher and staff through a well-rounded nursery school program strive to enhance all areas of development in each child; emotional, social, cognitive and physical.
