A Timeless Mission:
To develop and promote a symphony orchestra which performs musical programs of the highest artistic quality that enriches our cultural community. 

The Idaho State Civic Symphony is the oldest orchestra in the State of Idaho. While the symphony was established early in the 1900s, The Idaho State Civic Symphony Association was incorporated in 1954, receiving 501(c)3 status.

Today, The Idaho State Civic Symphony Association is a non-profit organization, governed by a 30-member volunteer board of directors, and includes a Music Director/Conductor, a 60 to 65 member orchestra, a Manager, the Friends of Symphony, a student properties manager, a librarian, and a webmaster.
