About Us

Ingleside Presbyterian Church was founded on May 13, 1900, with 18 charter members. It was organized in the Ingleside community of DeKalb County (which is now part of Avondale Estates) to minister to families that worked for the Scottdale Mill. Groundbreaking for our first building was in June 1900 and the bell that occupies the tower in our new building was donated in 1901. The congregation served the area until 1978 when we purchased property in Stone Mountain.

Until 1990, IPC was affiliated with the P.C. U.S. and later the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) In 1990, the church left the P.C.U.S.A. and affiliated with the Presbyterian Church in America, a denomination committed to the authority of Scripture and fulfilling the Great COmmission.

In 1998, our church took another step of faith and relocated to Gwinnett County. In August 1999, we purchased 8.5 acres of the beautiful Sundance Farms across the street from Alton C. Crews Middle School in Lawrenceville and broke ground for the current building on May 14, 2000.

Bill Bratley became the 25th pastor of Ingleside in August 1993, leaving an associate pastorate in his home state of Mississippi. Kevin Eutsey became our Youth Pastor in October 2005, after serving churches in Indiana and Pennsylvania.
