Iowa Sculpture Festival

PO Box 641
641-521-3554

The purpose and goal of the Iowa Sculpture Festival is to celebrate the development and growth of sculpture as an ultimate art form and to feature artists that create it.

In pursuit of this objective, the Iowa Sculpture Festival has established Maytag Park and Newton, Iowa as a center for sculpture through its annual festival and the community for year-round educational programming on sculpture.

During the course of the festival, a selection committee evaluates and selects from the many talented sculptors’ work a sculpture to purchase for the community. The work of art is displayed in a public area, or garden, for the entire community to enjoy. An experienced panel of judges evaluates and selects works of art for awards from the many attending artists.

The festival showcases performing arts from Newton and throughout the Midwest with family entertainment. There is fun for all ages with activities that delight your senses.
