Small town treasure! Go back in time to the early days of modern logging and wood flooring manufacturing. The history of a company town. The company home set up on the property is my favorite part of this exhibit. Beautiful, well run museum.

Awesome museum, step right back into time, nothing is staged,it's as though the staff walked out and locked the doors. You wouldn't believe this gem is tucked away off U.S.2 in a little town. Stop by,you will be amazed.

Really worth the visit. Gives you a fascinating view into what life was like in the north woods "way back when". Better museum than you'd think for such a small town.

It's a plethora of info about the area & it's founding families. Enjoyed every area inc outside exhibits. If your heritage runs deep in this part of the UP then you owe yourself a visit.
