Jake's Farm
We grow a large variety of vegetable, small fruits, and cut flowers. Our heated greenhouses insure our year round operations. All our fields are drip irrigated, and contour planted insuring production no matter the weather. We sell at tailgates on Saturday mornings in Black Mountain and the Asheville City Market. CSA shares available. Wholesale orders are taken through Carolina Organic Growers at the WNC Farmers market. We welcome restaurant customers and will gladly work with chefs to supply their needs whenever possible. Our products are available at Greenlife Grocery and other boutique grocery store in the Asheville area.

We have been providing our loyal subcribers a bountiful share since 1999. Our only complaint has been too much food. We grow for local restaurants, so our shares contain many heirloom and specialty vegetables. A typical box from last July contained; arugula, beans/french, beans/snap, beets, cabbage, celery, cukes, carrots, greens (Kale, chard, mustard, or turnip), eggplant, fennel, okra, onions/yellow/red, peppers hot/sweet, potatoes yukon/fingerling/red, scallions, squash (3 varieties) cantaloupe, basil, an assortment of up to 10 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, kohlrabi, fresh herbs, and head lettuce or salad mix. Contents vary by month. Half share members get the standard box bi-weekly instead of weekly. Our customers have told us: "Jake's Farm CSA was a breath of fresh air! Each week we faithfully received an abundance of fresh fruits and veggies."

Members pick up their shares on Saturday at Markets, or on farm on Tuesdays or Saturdays. To your home deliveries may be possible by prior arrangement before purchase. We have to charge extra for home delivery depending upon your address and distance from our farm. Delivery to your home is available in the Asheville area only for an extra charge of 150.00. Please contact us for approval before selecting this option in the payment section.
