Jefferson Healthcare is the only ISO 9000 accredited system on the northern Olympic Peninsula and is also DNV accredited while operating as a fully integrated health care system. The hospital is a 25-bed, critical access care hospital that has complete coverage by 24 hour hospitalists, has top rated surgical services and includes an emergency room, lab services, swing bed unit, the latest in digital imaging including new 3D mammography equipment and a comprehensive array of physical, speech and occupational rehabilitation therapies.

Jefferson Healthcare was one of the first five hospitals in the Washington to be designated Baby Friendly by the World Health Organization. Jefferson Healthcare has a full service orthopedic clinic and an oncology clinic administering infusion services of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and other treatments. The Medical Short Stay includes wound care, sleep medicine, Coumadin and anti-coagulation services. We provide Wellness programs, a broad range of support groups and community education programs.

Jefferson Healthcare has nine clinics throughout the county and a nationally recognized award winning Home Health service provider and Hospice office. The primary care clinics are located near the hospital in Port Townsend and in Port Ludlow and Quilcene. The primary care clinics provide pediatrics, family medicine, obstetrics, women's health, and urgent care. We also have a Specialty Clinic that provides pulmonary care, urological surgery and pelvic floor reconstruction and cardiology care services.

Jefferson Healthcare has been recognized as a Leader in LGBT Healthcare Equality by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation, the educational arm of the country's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) civil rights organization.

Jefferson Healthcare is a public hospital district providing services to residents of east Jefferson County. It is operated as a municipal corporation with five elected commissioners who oversee the district's operations.
