The Junior League of Atlanta's ShamRock 'N Roll Road Race USA Fit Team Spirit Training Group

 

Start the New Year with fun, friendship and training for the Junior League of Atlanta's ShamRock 'N Roll Road Race presented by Verizon Wireless and Belk with the JLA Training Group with USA Fit Team Spirit. The USA Fit Team Spirit program fosters fitness in a fun, non-intimidating environment, and prepares you to run or run/walk a 5K,10K, half-marathon or even a full marathon - including JLA's ShamRock 'N Roll Road Race presented by Verizon Wireless and Belk on March 13, 2011.

 

For $99, you will be provided with six months of personal and inspirational coaching, organized group runs twice weekly for all different skill levels, an easy-to-follow training schedule, an online discussion forum to get help during the week, and race registration for the 2011 ShamRock 'N Roll Road Race. Join the Junior League of Atlanta for the 7th Annual ShamRock 'N Roll Road Race Presented by Verizon Wireless and Belk on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at Atlantic Station. Both the 5K and 10K races start at 9:00am. Runners and walkers will enjoy Star 94 at the start and finish, bands along the race course and Irish-themed entertainment at the post race festival.  Join the growing number of kilt wearing runners competing for first place prizes plus gift certificates and awards for other top finishers. The ShamRock 'N Roll Race is stroller and dog friendly and fun for all ages with food, drinks, face painting, "Touch-a-Truck" including Atlantic Station's own fire truck, clowns and a bounce house as well as doggy treats and a play area. The race is an ATC Peachtree Road Race Qualifier with DAG chip timing and a downhill finish. All registrants of this charity race will receive technical T-shirts and opportunities to win door prizes.  Proceeds support programs of The Junior League of Atlanta's 90 community partner organizations, which focus on empowering women and children to become self-reliant.
