Kelseyville Unified School District, founded in 1921, is the second largest of seven districts located in Lake County, California. The District serves the town of Kelseyville and includes the Big Valley area, Soda Bay, the Buckingham peninsula, the Riviera and up to the crest of Cobb Mountain. The area is known for its pears, walnuts, a growing award winning wine industry, tourism including summer water activities on Clear Lake, year-round concerts at Konocti Harbor Inn, and local Indian casinos. Lake County claims the best air quality in California.
